Top notes are Lemon Peel, Ginger, Bergamot and elemi; middle notes are Clary Sage, Lavender, Clearwood and Geranium; base notes are Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver, Cedarwood and Amberwood. Subtle Grace by House of Sillage is a citrus-bright, aromatic woody fragrance for women, introduced in 2025 as part of the Nude Collection. The scent is presented by the brand as a composed, calming fragrance that aims to create a sense of quiet clarity and inner balance rather than loud projection. It opens with a fresh, sparkling blend of ginger, elemi, lemon peel and bergamot, leading into an aromatic heart of geranium, clary sage, French lavender and the modern woody note Clearwood. Bérénice Watteau

Bérénice Watteau knew by age seven that she would become a perfumer, a vocation shaped by an artistic family and the energy of Paris, where she was raised after being born in northern France. She earned a Chemistry degree from Pierre and Marie Curie University before training at ISIPCA, graduating in 2014, and later studying perfume marketing at ESSEC. She joined Puig in Barcelona as a Junior Perfumer in 2018, then moved to dsm-firmenich in 2019, training alongside Principal Perfumers Amandine Clerc Marie and Clément Gavarry and Master Perfumer Martin Koh. Journeys through Ethiopia, India, and Myanmar as a teenager, and a later move to New York, have continued to shape her sensory vocabulary.
