OPULENCE OF DUBAI by Swiss Arabian was launched in 2023, crafted by the renowned perfumer Ilias Ermenidis. This fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of Nigerian Ginger and elemi, creating an aromatic freshness that cuts through the richness to follow. The heart blends Damask Rose with cardamom and pink pepper, adding layers of warmth and spiciness. As it settles into its woody base notes of Atlas Cedar and vetiver, the composition is anchored by a luxurious blend of incense, amber, bourbon vanilla, and roasted coffee beans, evoking the opulent essence of Dubai itself.
Start with two sprays on pulse points — the aromatic top notes are bright and fleeting, so you want to capture them early. The base notes develop over an hour, so this is one for a day or evening out rather than a quick errand.
