The story behind the bottle.
Waqar by Swiss Arabian is a composition that balances the freshness of citrus with the warmth of spices and wood. The opening notes of grapefruit and mint introduce an invigorating brightness, while mandarin orange adds a sweet contrast. As it evolves, wafts of cinnamon and spicy accords create a cozy ambience, complemented by the earthy tones of rose and cedar. A woody base of sandalwood and patchouli grounds the fragrance, with leather and ambergris adding an animalic depth that lingers on the skin.
Apply Waqar in moderation — the grapefruit and mint top notes are bright but fleeting. The rich base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so give it time before reapplying. Ideal for day or evening wear, as its warmth pairs well with both casual and formal settings.
