Ta'if Elixir, launched in 2019 by Ormonde Jayne and crafted by perfumer Linda Pilkington, is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance that captures the essence of an opulent yet refined sensory journey. The composition opens with the sweetness of dates and saffron, creating a rich, indulgent base for pink pepper's spicy brightness to cut through. At its heart lies rose oil, jasmine, and freesia, which weave together with French orange flower to create a floral bouquet that is both delicate and profound. As it settles into the base notes, Cambodian oud and amber provide warmth and depth, while broom adds a subtle earthiness.

Linda Pilkington grew up in Cheshire, England, and spent fourteen years in Brazil running a soya bean farm and an ice-cream business before returning to London. A friend's request for a quality scented candle led her into perfumery; when that friend, who worked for Chanel, commissioned a candle, orders grew quickly and she founded the niche house Ormonde Jayne in 2000, named for the road she lived on and her middle name. Her fragrances, created with Geza Schoen, are known for unusual ingredients drawn from her travels.
