The Grudge by BeauFort London is a fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. The Grudge was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Euan McCall. Top notes are Copal, Frankincense and Wormwood; middle notes are Calamus, Seaweed and Tea; base notes are Oakmoss, Ambergris, Musk, Oud, Tobacco and Labdanum.

A Signature Fragrance
Oakmoss
Oakmoss, derived from lichens growing on oak trees, exudes an unmistakable blend of damp forest floor and mossy green. Its scent is both deep and complex, with hints of woodsy freshness that evoke the quiet solitude of a shaded grove.
Ambergris
Derived from the digestive system of sperm whales, ambergris has long been prized for its rich, musky aroma with hints of sweetness and a marine freshness. This distinctive material is often described as having a deep, leathery scent with an underlying current of saltwater and a subtle sweetness that makes it both intriguing and complex.
Musk
Musk, once sourced from the musk deer and now often recreated synthetically, offers an earthy, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of skin. Its versatility allows it to blend seamlessly into various fragrance families, from oriental to woody, enhancing their depth without overpowering them.
Euan McCall
Founding perfumer · 1 fragrances
Euan McCall grew up around his grandparents' gardening business and his grandmother's love of perfume, discovering his precision for identifying scents around age 8 during a holiday in Grasse. Self-taught rather than formally educated, he trained informally with perfumers including Irish master perfumer Dr George Dodd, who had retired to the Scottish Highlands, and in 2019 founded Jorum Studio with designer Chloe Mullen — Scotland's first fragrance formulation house — hand-crafting small batches in their Edinburgh studio.
