Launched in 2009 by Zadig & Voltaire and crafted by perfumer Nathalie Lorson, Tome 1 La Purete is an Oriental Woody fragrance that marries white florals with warm spices and powdery woods. The scent opens with the brightness of jasmine and African orange flower, infused with a touch of milk for a gentle lactonic quality. This freshness gives way to a heart of patchouli and almond, which adds depth without overpowering the composition. The base notes of sandalwood, musk, amber, vanilla, and tonka bean create a warm, enveloping finish that feels both comforting and sophisticated.
