The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2006, Tommy 10 by Tommy Hilfiger is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance created by perfumers Calice Becker and Stephen Nilsen. The composition opens with bright, fresh notes of pineapple and cranberry, which cut through the sweetness to create an inviting contrast. At its heart, cactus flower and violet bring soft floral warmth, while cotton candy adds a touch of sugary delight. The base notes of red maple and woody accords ground the scent, providing a lingering sense of comfort and sophistication.

How to wear it

Tommy 10’s top notes are bright and fleeting, so apply two sprays to ensure the heart and base notes have time to develop. This fragrance is best for daytime or early evening wear as it balances sweet and woody elements without overpowering.

Calice Becker

Flowers inside a bottle of eau de cologne

Calice Becker (Asancheyev-Becker) is a French master perfumer and director of the Givaudan Perfumery School, whose fascination with perfume began as a child asking how flowers get inside a bottle of eau de cologne.

“I like to add a dose of intrigue because nothing catches the attention of a touch of something unexpected.”
