Launched in 2019 by perfumer Guillaume Flavigny for Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Into The Surf is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of a coastal escape. The composition opens with bitter orange and cardamom, creating an invigorating freshness that’s immediately appealing. As it evolves, ginger and clary sage add warmth and depth, while white pepper introduces a subtle spiciness. The base notes of ebony tree, Haitian vetiver, and Indonesian patchouli leaf ground the scent in earthy richness, making for a well-rounded and engaging experience.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the essence of this fragrance. The citrus notes are bright but fleeting, so reapply lightly throughout the day if you want a consistent presence. This scent reads best close to skin, making it perfect for casual daytime wear.
