Launched in 2019 by Valentino and crafted by perfumers Antoine Maisondieu and Guillaume Flavigny, Valentino Uomo Born in Roma is a Woody Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of Rome through its dynamic composition. The scent opens with mineral notes and violet leaf, bringing an immediate freshness and crispness to the air. Sage and ginger add a zesty warmth, while salt and vetiver provide grounding earthiness. This contrast between sharp freshness and warm depth makes it feel like two fragrances in one, evolving beautifully throughout the day.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow its evolving notes to unfold naturally. The mineral and violet leaf opening is bright but fades within an hour, so ensure you capture enough of the warm woody base by applying it closer to skin rather than aiming for sillage.
