The story behind the bottle.
Trussardi built its name on Italian leather and tailoring, and Black Extreme leans into that inheritance rather than chasing something new — the leather and vetiver base feel like they belong to a fashion house more than a perfume lab. Italian iris in the heart adds a cool, powdery edge against the ripeness of plum, keeping the fruit from turning candied. Sea notes and Italian lemon open things brightly, but they burn off fast, handing the fragrance over almost entirely to its darker half. What's left is patchouli-heavy and a little severe, closer to a worn leather jacket than a bottle of cologne.
The citrus-marine opening is brief, so don't expect it to carry the fragrance past the first half hour. The leather and patchouli base is where this one actually lives, and it projects best from close range rather than filling a room.
