The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2001 by Victoria's Secret, Pink 2001 was created by perfumer Annie Buzantian to capture the essence of freshness and floral femininity. The composition opens with a burst of citrus from mandarin orange and bergamot, followed by the green vibrancy of violet leaf and artemisia. The heart notes reveal a delicate bouquet of peony, freesia, lily-of-the-valley, and neroli, creating an aromatic and white floral profile. The base notes of musk, vetiver, vanilla, and sandalwood provide a warm and woody foundation that grounds the fragrance.
Apply Pink 2001 to pulse points for a lasting effect. The citrus top notes are bright but fade within an hour, so layering with the woody base can enhance its longevity throughout the day. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than projecting into a room.
