Launched in 2014 by WIDIAN and created by perfumers Ali Aljaberi and Jean-Claude Astier, VII is a unisex fragrance that embodies the warmth of rich woods and musk. The composition opens with cashmere wood and agarwood (oud), creating an immediate sense of depth and complexity. These notes are further enhanced by cedar and white musk, which add both earthiness and a subtle sweetness to the mix. Amber rounds out the base, lending a radiant glow that warms the skin throughout the day.

Application Tips
VII has a slow development on the skin, so it's best to apply one or two sprays and let it settle for at least ten minutes. The warmth and depth of the notes make it ideal for cooler evenings or indoor settings where its subtle richness can shine.

Ali Aljaberi, based in Abu Dhabi, grew up around his family's fragrance boutique, opened in 1982. He studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and with the help of perfumer Jean-Claude Astier founded the brand A J Arabia in 2008, later renamed Widian as its ambitions grew international.
