The story behind the bottle.
Flowerbomb Rose Gold, launched by Viktor&Rolf in 2019 and crafted by perfumers Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaïm, Dominique Ropion, and Domitille Michalon Bertier, is a vibrant Oriental Floral fragrance that captures the essence of modern femininity. The composition opens with a burst of citrusy bergamot and tea notes, which blend seamlessly into a heart filled with white florals like jasmine sambac, orange blossom, freesia, and orchid. This floral bouquet is further enriched by the delicate osmanthus and rose, creating a lush and enveloping scent. The base features musk and patchouli, grounding the fragrance with warmth and depth.
Apply this fragrance in light layers — it blooms beautifully over time and can become overwhelming if too much is applied at once. It pairs well with powdery or musky scents for added depth.
