The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2012 by Viktor&Rolf, Spicebomb is a genre-defining fragrance that pioneered the sweet-spicy 'oriental bomb' style for designer masculine fragrances. The composition opens with pink pepper and elemi before diving into cinnamon and paprika, creating an intense warmth that's both spicy and inviting. At its heart, bergamot and grapefruit add unexpected brightness to the mix, while saffron brings a luxurious depth. The base notes of tobacco, leather, vetiver, and warm spices create a rich, enveloping finish.

Spicebomb has not only become one of the most reviewed fragrances in the catalog but also a cultural phenomenon. Its grenade-shaped bottle has reportedly been confiscated at airport security checkpoints for resembling an actual hand grenade, adding to its reputation as a bold and disruptive scent.

How to wear it

One or two sprays are enough to capture its bold personality. The spicy top notes are intense but dissipate within an hour, while the tobacco-leather base lingers for hours. Best worn during cooler weather when the warmth of the composition can be fully appreciated.
