Launched in 2023 by Zara and crafted by perfumer Gaël Montero, Lush Vetiver is a composition that balances the brightness of citrus with the earthy depth of vetiver. The fragrance opens with bergamot and grapefruit, creating a fresh and vibrant top note that quickly gives way to the rich complexity of saffron and vetiver. This blend is further enriched by oak and patchouli in the heart, adding layers of warmth and spiciness. A touch of tobacco adds an unexpected smoky undertone, grounding the composition with earthy sophistication.
Lush Vetiver projects best when applied to pulse points. The citrus top notes fade quickly, so it's important to let the woody base develop over time. This fragrance is ideal for cooler weather but can be worn year-round if you prefer a closer-to-skin application.
