Launched in 2018 by Viktor&Rolf and crafted by Marie Salamagne, Salty Flower is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the freshness of sea salt with the richness of white florals. The opening notes of sea salt and bergamot create a crisp, invigorating aura that contrasts beautifully with the heart's lush jasmine sambac and tuberose. As it settles into its base, ambroxan and moss add depth, grounding the floral exuberance in a subtle earthiness.
One or two sprays on pulse points is sufficient to capture both the bright top notes and the lingering base. The marine top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so aim for a quick yet impactful first impression. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room.
