The Story

Viole Nere by Meo Fusciuni, launched in 2023 and crafted by perfumer Giuseppe Imprezzabile, is a composition that captures the essence of a dusky garden. Opening with powdery violet and floral iris, it quickly transitions into an earthy, mossy base infused with warm spices. This scent reads as both intimate and expansive, creating a mood that's both grounded and mysteriously alluring.

Application Tips

Apply Viole Nere to pulse points for a subtle yet lingering effect. The powdery and floral top notes are fleeting but make way for the rich, earthy base that blooms over time. Best worn in cooler weather when its warmth can be fully appreciated.

Giuseppe Imprezzabile portrait

Giuseppe Imprezzabile was born in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, in 1977, and studied Herbal Techniques at the pharmaceutical faculty in Parma before continuing into anthropology and ethnobotany. Perfumery became his full-time work from 2009, working under the pseudonym Meo Fusciuni — combining his father's nickname 'Meo' and his grandfather's nickname 'Fusciuni' — and preferring to describe himself as an 'Aromatario' rather than a perfumer.
