Launched in 2018 by Kajal, Warde is a woody aromatic fragrance crafted by perfumers David Chieze and Urs Castelletti. The composition opens with the fresh spicy notes of pine and absinthe, creating an invigorating contrast to the rich balsamic heart of rose and white flowers. As it settles into its base of agarwood (oud) and patchouli, Warde transforms into a warm, enveloping scent that balances freshness and depth.

David Chieze, born and raised in France, studied chemistry before training as a perfumer, starting at L'Artisan Parfumeur's boutique, where after hours he practiced reconstructing classic accords. He was discovered and mentored for a year by Bertrand Duchaufour, who introduced him to Mark Buxton; the two now create fragrances together at LUZI's Paris office, with work for Electimuss, Kajal, and Thomas de Monaco, and an Art and Olfaction Award nomination for Anti Anti.
