Launched in 1997 by Chopard, Nathalie Lorson's creation Wish is a sophisticated sweet oriental that has become iconic for its gourmand character. Often compared to Thierry Mugler's Angel, it offers a similarly indulgent patchouli-vanilla accord but with a more refined edge. The fragrance opens with fruity and coconut notes before settling into a rich base of caramel, honey, vanilla, and tonka bean. This composition is both comforting and complex, though its polarizing reputation means that while some find it sensual and sophisticated, others describe it as cloyingly sweet.
