Launched in 2023, Tar by Yusuf Bhai is an unisex fragrance that blends warm spices with the rich complexity of leather and smoky notes. The composition opens with a burst of cognac and raspberry before diving into cinnamon and saffron, creating a spicy warmth that transitions seamlessly into a heart of Bulgarian rose and mineral incense. As it settles, Tar reveals its core: a blend of leather, tobacco, vanilla, and the titular tar, which gives the fragrance its distinctive smoky character.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points. The spicy top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so it's the base that carries the fragrance. Tar develops slowly, so allow it an hour before fully appreciating its depth. It reads best in cooler weather when the smoky and leathery elements come into their own.
