Signature Leather Tabac by Zaharoff, launched in 2023 and crafted by Claude Dir and Mane, is a complex composition that balances the rich warmth of leather with the smoky depth of tobacco. Star anise and black pepper introduce a fresh spicy note, while birch tar and myrrh add an earthy, animalic undertone. The heart unfolds with sage and rosemary, giving way to a base of praline, honey, and vanilla that harmonizes the leathery and smoky elements. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering; instead, it creates a sophisticated aura that feels both intimate and confident.
Apply two sprays to ensure that the fresh spicy top notes blend well with the deeper leathery base. The fragrance takes about an hour for the full depth to emerge, so it’s best suited for daytime wear when you can enjoy its evolving character throughout the day.
