Launched in 2012 by Mugler, A*Men Pure Leather Pure Cuir is a fragrance that encapsulates the essence of leather and warmth. The composition opens with mint and lavender, adding a fresh yet unexpected contrast to the rich leather base. As it develops, fruity notes and coriander introduce an element of sweetness, which is further enhanced by caramel and vanilla. Patchouli, cedar, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley contribute to its woody and floral heart, while tonka bean, amber, musk, and sandalwood provide a deep, animalic finish that grounds the scent in earthy sensuality.
This fragrance is best applied lightly — its rich base notes emerge gradually over time. The top notes fade within two hours but leave behind a lingering warmth that lasts through the day. It pairs well with layered clothing, where it can envelop you in a comforting embrace.
