Z Zegna by Ermenegildo Zegna is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. Z Zegna was launched in 2005. Z Zegna was created by Antoine Lie, Pierre Negrin and Olivier Gillotin. Top notes are Sicilian Bergamot and Rosemary; middle notes are White Pepper, Nutmeg and Iris; base notes are Cashmere Wood, Oakmoss, Musk and Patchouli. The second fragrance for men of the Italian designer Zegna is modern and youthful. The bluish bottle of sports design is practical and elegant and will for sure be liked by the younger audience. The fragrance opens in fresh and fruity notes of bergamot, rosemary and Casoar fruit (blue berries from New Guinea similar to blueberry, which olfactively resemble red currant), and yellow Mirabelle plums. The exotic fruits give a modern green-fruity nuance. The spicy heart of iris, nutmeg, and white pepper announce arrival of sensual woodsy notes, warm and natural: cashmere wood, patchouli, musk, and oak moss. The perfume was created by Antoine Lie, Pierre Negrin i and Olivier Gillotin in 2005.

Musk
Musk, once sourced from the musk deer and now often recreated synthetically, offers an earthy, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of skin. Its versatility allows it to blend seamlessly into various fragrance families, from oriental to woody, enhancing their depth without overpowering them.

Antoine Lie is a French perfumer born in Strasbourg who studied chemistry before training in Grasse under Jean Carles and completing an apprenticeship with Jean Guichard. Early in his career he contributed to mainstream successes including Armani Code and Versace Crystal Noir, before seeking greater creative freedom in niche perfumery, working for Givaudan and later as VP senior perfumer at Takasago. He is now the founder and perfumer at ALOE — Antoine Lie Olfactive Experience — in Paris, and has created unconventional fragrances for houses including Etat Libre d'Orange, oneofthose, and Nu Be, often built around unexpected materials like vinyl, metal, and ether alongside vetiver, leather, and iris.
