Christelle Laprade is a French perfumer born in 1976 in Sanary-sur-Mer, near the Mediterranean, who has said she knew from childhood she wanted to be a fine perfumer.
She began her studies at ISIPCA in 1997, joined Expressions Parfumées in Grasse in 2000 after an internship at Dragoco in New York, moved to Mane USA in New Jersey in 2003, and joined the Symrise studio in New York in 2006. She builds fragrances with a feel-good, playful approach that she describes as "trash-glam."
