François Merle-Baudoin, born in Grasse, is a fifth-generation perfumer whose grandfather founded the fragrance Anaïs Anaïs. He began working in his family's laboratory at age twelve and trained formally at Roure's fragrance school in Grasse, later working across France, Singapore, and Australia over a 25-year career. His creations include Pacific Rock Moss for Goldfield & Banks (with Carine Certain Boin) and Sahraa for Fragrance Du Bois.
