Lucius by Fragrance Du Bois is a composition that balances bright citrus freshness with warm amber and woody undertones. Launched in 2024 and crafted by François Merle-Baudoin, the fragrance opens with pink pepper and bergamot, creating an initial burst of energy and vibrancy. As these top notes settle, they give way to a heart of orange blossom and cedarwood, which add both floral softness and woody depth. The base notes of amber and vetiver anchor the scent with a warm, comforting presence that lingers throughout the day.
Apply Lucius in light layers — the citrus top notes are bright but fleeting. The woody and amber base notes will develop over time, so it’s best to let them build gradually throughout the day.
