The story behind the bottle.
New York Intense by Fragrance Du Bois, crafted by perfumer Pierre-Constantin Guéros and launched in 2020, is a complex Oriental Woody fragrance that captures the essence of an urban jungle. The composition opens with bright blackberry and cinnamon, giving way to a heart of rose, bay leaf, coriander, orange, and olibanum. These notes create a vibrant, spicy aroma that feels both fresh and warm. The base is anchored by oud, honey, immortelle, vanilla, orchid, myrrh, patchouli, musk, vetiver, and cedar, blending into an enveloping woody-amber warmth that lingers long after the initial notes have faded.
Given its long-lasting nature, one or two sprays is sufficient. The top notes are bright but fade quickly into the heart and base notes that develop over time. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a room, so focus your application on pulse points for maximum impact.
