Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014, Levantium by Penhaligon's is a floral woody musk fragrance for women and men, crafted by Christian Provenzano. The composition opens with the freshness of bergamot and wormwood, leading to a heart where rose and jasmine blend seamlessly with cardamom and cloves. At its core, Levantium features oud and guaiac wood, enveloped in a warm, powdery base of sandalwood, myrrh, cedar, amber, and musk. This fragrance captures the essence of Penhaligon's legacy while offering a modern twist with its complex and layered notes.
Levantium has a slow-building character, so apply it in thin layers to allow each note to unfold gradually. It pairs well with cooler evenings but can also be worn during the day for a subtle yet lasting presence.
