Joan Mateu

Joan Mateu trained under his father, master perfumer Rosendo Mateu, and received early training at Givaudan in New York in raw materials and fragrance fundamentals, combining a background in technical architecture, media, and entrepreneurship. In 2014 he began working on his own collection with his father, which launched in Spain in late 2015 with four fragrances, expanding to five unisex scents by 2017; he now manages the family business.
