The story behind the bottle.
Rosendo Mateu Nº 8 Fruity, Amber, Exotic Musk by Rosendo Mateu Olfactive Expressions is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women and men. Launched in 2024, this composition opens with the bright freshness of pineapple, apple, and pear, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy and energy. The heart introduces cinnamon, iris, and Bulgarian rose, adding warmth and depth. As the scent settles into its base notes of amber, vanilla, cedar, guaiac wood, and vetiver, it transforms into a comforting, exotic musk that lingers softly on the skin. This fragrance is a collaborative effort by Rosendo Mateu, Joan Mateu, and Marc Daniel Heimgartner, blending their expertise to create a distinctive olfactory experience.
One or two sprays to start — the fruity top notes are bright but fade within an hour. The base notes develop slowly over time, so give it at least 30 minutes before reapplying if you want a stronger presence throughout the day.
