Rosendo Mateu launched Nº 5 Elixir in 2024 as an Oriental Spicy fragrance that marries warmth with depth. The composition begins with the rich, earthy notes of saffron and spicy accents, leading into a heart of lily of the valley and strawberry for a touch of sweetness. At its core, vanilla and amber blend seamlessly with tonka bean and musk to create a warm, enveloping base that reads as both comforting and intriguing.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points — the spicy top notes are vibrant but fade within an hour. The warmth of the base notes will linger close to skin, so this is best worn for intimate moments rather than filling a room.

From Puig apprentice to Master PerfumerRosendo Mateu began his fragrance career at 15 as an apprentice at the Puig perfumery company in Barcelona, later studying at Master Marcel Carles's Roure School in Grasse, then in Geneva with Arturo Jordi Pey at Firmenich and in Paris with Max Gavarry at IFF.
