Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Herrera For Men by Carolina Herrera was launched in 1991 and is crafted by perfumers Carlos Benaïm and Rosendo Mateu. This woody floral musk fragrance begins with a bright citrus-aromatic opening, featuring lemon and lavender, which gives way to the herbal warmth of rosemary and neroli. The heart notes introduce a fresh spiciness with cloves and geranium, while clover adds a subtle sweetness. The base layer is dominated by tobacco, sandalwood, and ambergris, creating an earthy and warm finish that lingers on the skin.
Apply two sprays at the start of your day; the bright top notes will fade within an hour, but the rich base of tobacco and sandalwood will stay with you through evening. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room.
