The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2020 by Carolina Herrera, Iris Empire is a sophisticated Oriental Floral fragrance that bridges the gap between warmth and elegance. The composition opens with cinnamon and davana, creating an initial spiciness that gives way to the heart of iris and violet, blending into a powdery and earthy base accented by leather, chocolate, patchouli, benzoin, and olibanum. This fragrance encapsulates the essence of Carolina Herrera’s dedication to refinement and lasting style.
One to two sprays on pulse points is sufficient — the cinnamon and davana notes are bright and noticeable initially but give way to the richer base notes over time. This fragrance is best for cooler evenings or layered under a jacket, as its warmth reads better in slightly cooler temperatures.
