CH Men by Carolina Herrera was launched in 2009 as a warm, mature leather-and-spice composition that has since become something of a 'hidden gem' among fragrance enthusiasts. The scent opens with fresh spicy notes like bergamot and grapefruit, which quickly give way to the rich warmth of leather, suede, and vanilla. This blend is balanced by powdery and woody undertones from violet, saffron, sandalwood, and oakmoss. Despite its compelling character, CH Men has been frequently criticized for weak longevity and projection, often fading within 90 minutes.
Given its short longevity, CH Men is best applied in layers throughout the day. The spicy top notes dissipate quickly, but the warm base notes can linger close to skin for a more personal experience. It's better suited for indoor environments where you can enjoy its subtleties up close.
