Karine's story

The story

After a break for a Master's in luxury marketing and time at Guerlain, she returned to perfumery, opening the Parisian office of a small Grasse-based fragrance company, and in 2005 launched her own independent practice with the support of Michel Roudnitska within the Art et Parfum pool of independent perfumers. Her work has included artistic projects such as recreating the scent of the Chauvet cave and a fragrance for cartoonist and painter Enki Bilal, and since 2014 she has taught perfumery at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris; her 2018 creation for Gallivant Perfumes was a finalist at the Art and Olfaction Awards.
