Marypierre Julien's passion for perfumery was ignited by the lavender fields of southern France.
She graduated from ISIPCA in 1997, trained under Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Bertrand Duchaufour at Symrise/Florasynth, and joined Takasago before moving to Quest, later absorbed into Givaudan, where she is now Senior Perfumer. Her creations include Rihanna's Reb'l Fleur and Rebelle, Giorgio Armani's Ocean di Gioia, Calvin Klein's Reveal Men, and Elizabeth Arden's 5th Avenue Nights.
