Philippine Courtière trained as a lawyer, earning a master's in law and international administration in 2008, before a calling to perfumery led her to a complete career change.
Guided by Francis Kurkdjian, Michel Almairac, and Jacques Cavallier, she built her craft across Paris, Geneva, and New York before being named a perfumer and moving to Dubai in 2014, later joining Symrise's Dubai creative team in 2021. She now divides her time between Dubai and Paris, drawn to Middle Eastern perfumery and other cultures.
