Launched in 2018 by Atkinsons, Gold Fair In Mayfair is a sophisticated Oriental Floral fragrance created by perfumer Philippine Courtière. The composition opens with the invigorating freshness of absinthe and nutmeg, giving way to a heart of cacao and iris that creates an intriguing contrast between sweetness and bitterness. This is further enhanced by warm spicy notes of sage and styrax, anchored by the rich depth of ambroxan and vetiver in the base, which adds a musky warmth that lingers throughout.
