The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Atkinsons and crafted by perfumers Fabrice Pellegrin and Hamid Merati-Kashani, His Majesty The Oud is a Woody Spicy fragrance that channels the brand's legacy of elegance. It opens with the freshness of black tea and cloves before settling into a rich base of Laotian oud, vanilla, and leather. This composition creates a sense of warmth and depth, reminiscent of an opulent, well-appointed study where the scent of aged wood and subtle animalic notes interplay with powdery musks.
Given its long-lasting nature and moderate sillage, one spray is often sufficient. The fragrance's warm base notes take some time to bloom, so it’s best applied ahead of time for a full experience. It pairs well with formal attire but can also be worn casually as an everyday scent.
