The story
He began his career at Antoine Chiris in Grasse in 1962, moved to Paris in 1969 for Roure Bertrand Dupont, then Firmenich and Dragoco, before becoming Director of Perfumery Research at J&E Sozio in 1988 and Director at Argeville in 1993. Inspired by a bouquet of lilies on his desk at Firmenich, he spent nearly eighteen months developing Cacharel's Anaïs Anaïs, ultimately finalizing the fragrance with fellow perfumer Roger Pellegrino's idea to add brighter notes of blackcurrant.
