Launched in 1872 by Clive Christian, a brand that traces its roots to the Victorian era when Crown Perfumery was granted the royal crown as a sign of quality and excellence, 1872 For Women is a Floral Fruity fragrance that marries the freshness of citrus with the warmth of woody notes. The opening blend of bergamot, Amalfi lemon, tangerine, pineapple, and blueberry creates a vibrant and uplifting top layer. This gives way to a heart filled with floral accords like lily-of-the-valley, violet, osmanthus, freesia, rose, jasmine, and orchid, which bring depth and complexity. The base notes of oakmoss, Virginia cedar, musk, sandalwood, guaiac wood, and patchouli ground the composition with a rich, powdery warmth.
