Colonia Leather Eau de Cologne Concentrée by Acqua di Parma was launched in 2014 and expertly crafted by perfumer François Demachy. This fragrance marries the classic freshness of citrus with a rich, smoky leather accord, creating an intriguing tension between light and dark. The Brazilian Orange and Sicilian Lemon open with a bright zing that is soon enveloped by the warmth of rose and guaiac wood, leading to an animalic and woody base. This composition is a modern interpretation of Acqua di Parma’s signature elegance, blending traditional Italian craftsmanship with a contemporary edge.
This fragrance blooms over time, so a light application is recommended. The smoky and woody base notes develop slowly, making it perfect for layering under a jacket or during cooler evenings when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day.
