Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta was launched in 2003, a collaboration between perfumers Bertrand Duchaufour and Jean-Claude Ellena. This fragrance is an evolution of the iconic Acqua di Parma Colonia, offering a richer depth while maintaining its signature freshness. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like bitter orange and bergamot, before transitioning into a heart of ylang-ylang and jasmine, creating a warm floral contrast. Vetiver and cedar provide an earthy, woody base that brings warmth and longevity.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for an even distribution. The fragrance's longevity is best experienced close to skin; it blooms within an hour, so avoid layering with other scents. It pairs well with a light jacket during cooler mornings.
