The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2007, Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta Edizione Riviera is a modern interpretation of the brand’s signature cologne. Created by Jean-Claude Ellena and Bertrand Duchaufour, this fragrance blends vibrant citrus with aromatic herbs and woody notes to evoke the essence of Italy's coastal regions. The opening notes of orange, bergamot, and Sicilian lemon are bright and invigorating, while the heart adds a touch of lavender and rosemary for an herbal twist. The base notes of cedar, sandalwood, and Bulgarian rose bring warmth and depth, creating a harmonious blend that captures the spirit of the Italian Riviera.
Apply a light spritz to pulse points in the morning for a fresh start. The citrus top notes are bright but fade after an hour, so you may need a second application in the afternoon. This fragrance reads better close to skin than from across the room, making it perfect for daytime and casual settings.
