The story behind the bottle.
Acqua di Colonia by Santa Maria Novella was launched in 1533, making it one of the oldest colognes still in production today. The composition opens with a burst of citrus from bergamot, neroli, and Amalfi lemon, followed by tangerine and petitgrain that add layers of brightness and freshness. Lavender and rosemary bring an aromatic warmth, while clove and benzoin provide subtle spicy notes. This fragrance is neither masculine nor feminine in the conventional sense but rather a unisex blend that has stood as a symbol of crisp elegance over centuries.
