Eugenio Alphandery crafted Acqua di Colonia Lana by Santa Maria Novella, launched in 2017, as an homage to the brand's heritage of woody and powdery compositions. The fragrance opens with aromatic notes that introduce a subtle earthiness before giving way to a heart of rose and leather. This contrast creates a balance between freshness and warmth, making it both inviting and sophisticated.

Eugenio Alphandery, a mechanical engineer originally brought in to repair old machinery, bought the Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella in 1989 when it had only three employees, and revived it as a global brand while modernizing its production.
