Ottone by Santa Maria Novella, launched in 2012 and crafted by perfumer Eugenio Alphandery, is an aromatic spicy fragrance that balances fresh and warm elements with a woody backdrop. Eugenio Alphandery, a mechanical engineer originally brought in to repair old machinery, bought the Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella in 1989 when it had only three employees, and revived it as a global brand while modernizing its production.
