Launched in 2020 and crafted by François Demachy, Colonia Futura by Acqua di Parma is a modern interpretation of the brand's signature citrus aromatic style. The fragrance opens with vibrant citrus notes — lemon, bergamot, and grapefruit — that are balanced by fresh spices like pink pepper. Lavender and sage add an herbal depth, while vetiver provides earthy warmth in the base. This composition captures the essence of Italian elegance with a contemporary twist.
Colonia Futura has a bright top note that fades quickly, so apply it liberally to ensure the warm base notes have time to develop. Ideal for daytime wear, as the citrus opening can be too sharp in warmer evening settings.
