The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1974 and crafted by Marcel Carles, Loewe Pour Homme is an aromatic fougère that exemplifies the classic masculinity of its era. The fragrance opens with a bright citrus-aromatic accord, featuring lemon and tangerine, balanced by the fresh spiciness of basil and geranium. This vibrant top layer gives way to a heart of lavender and lily-of-the-valley, adding an unexpected softness before settling into a woody, earthy base of oakmoss, vetiver, sandalwood, and amber. The composition is both robust and refined, embodying the sophisticated elegance Loewe has long been known for.
This fragrance develops gradually on the skin, so a single spray is enough to let it evolve naturally. The aromatic top notes are particularly bright, but they fade within an hour, giving way to the deeper woody base that lasts throughout the day.
