The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025, Above Us, Steorra by Aesop is a fragrance that captures the essence of its Australian roots with a warm and spicy composition. Perfumer Celine Barel crafted this unisex scent around an aromatic blend of cinnamon, vanilla, and balsamic notes, creating a cozy yet fresh atmosphere. The warm spice and amber accords evoke the comforting embrace of a fireside chat on a crisp evening.
Apply this fragrance in small amounts — the spicy notes are potent and can quickly become overwhelming. Allow it to settle for about an hour before reapplying if needed. It pairs well with cooler evenings or indoor settings.
